I am a WAHM (work at home mum) based in Auckland, New Zealand. I started knitting because my son was either leaking overnight or getting rashes from waterproof but poorly ventilated covers. I am addicted to cloth nappying and spend far too much money trying out many different kinds.

Knitted soakers are the best covers for breathability I have found, and also the most leak resistant. They do require a little more care to wash than other covers, which is why I use a mix of different types of covers. Because they are pull-on type covers, they can only go over a fastened flat or prefold (snappied or pinned) or a fitted nappy.
